JAKARTA, April 23 (Xinhua) — Indonesia implemented a transitory residence permit policy, known as a bridging visa, which allows foreigners to extend their residence permits without having to leave the archipelago country, an official said on Tuesday.
Director General of Immigration Silmy Karim said that a transitory residence permit serves as a bridge between getting a new residence permit and an earlier one.</
