ISLAMABAD — Five Pakistani soldiers were killed when terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border opened fire on the troops in Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a military statement said on Sunday.

SUVA, Feb. 6 — Tonga once again extended the lockdown in some parts of the island country on Sunday as it reported two new COVID-19 cases.

JALALABAD, Afghanistan — Fifty affiliated militants of the Islamic State (IS) terror group surrendered in eastern Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, a provincial official said on Sunday.
